Down the Drain

I just learned some disturbing news from Stackedman: Rolling Rock has been bought by Anheuser-Busch. Needless to say, I am deeply saddened by this fact. It's not that Rolling Rock is the best brew out there, but it is one of the few cheap, yet decent American beerz. On the other hand, I refuse to touch any Anheuser-Busch product on general principle and because principle is important, I am joining the boycott of this stuff. Too bad the Rock is rolling downhill. First they did it with their light beer version and now they got snatched by Budweiser.

Homemade Fruitcake

I still keep hearing about the bunch of loonies who were planning to blow up the Sears Tower in my beloved Chi town. One of the phrases that reemerges all the time is "Homegrown Terrorism." Well, I am not a CIA analyst, but parading in military uniforms around Miami is probably the last thing a terrorist would wanna do. These guys were just a bunch of amateurs. Militaristic fruitloops.

Anyway, I am pretty happy that my firm is not in the Sears Tower. Otherwise, I would be doing mock evacuations twice a day.
