Small law firm making a big splash on Wall Street
Here is a New York Times articles about McKee Nelson LLP. Turns out, its a comparatively small NYC/DC firm that did plenty of securitization work for Wall Street investment banks piling up deals totalling $2.7 trillion!! since 2000 and generating $202 million for 2006. Now that securitization is not that hot they are going to redirect their attention to defending the same banks and hedge funds in the lawsuits that are going to come along with the credit crisis.... which means cashing out again. For some of these guys the good days will never end.
